Lost and Found
The University Police Department maintains the campus lost and found.
Claiming a Lost Item
If you have lost an item, please call the Police Department at (661) 654-2677. You will need to provide the dispatcher with a detailed description of the property and an approximate date of when it was lost. If your property was turned in, you may claim it at the Police Department building. You will need to provide a picture ID for the property to be released to you.
Reporting a Lost Item
If you have found an item please bring it to the Police Department. We are located directly north of the Old Gym. If you cannot bring the item yourself, please call us from a campus phone at ext. 2677, and we will be happy to send an officer to retrieve the property. At this time, the item(s) will be stored in property and entered into our automated property system.
Unclaimed Property
Items are retained for (3) months and then disposed of according to law.
