About Us
Accounting and Reporting Services, Student Affairs and Strategic Enrollment Management, is a department within Business Administration Services Division, with a dotted line to the Student Affairs and Strategic Enrollment Division.
What We Do
Our team accounts for the financial transactions of the Student Affairs and Strategic Enrollment Management Division including the Student-centered Enterprises, Inc. and Associated Student Inc. auxiliaries in accordance with policies and procedures of the California State University Organization's Accounting and Reporting System. Our team also accounts for the financial transaction of the Division I Athletics department in accordance with the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and Equity in Athletics Disclosure Act (EADA). The department ensures all income and expenditures of Student Affairs and Strategic Enrollment Management are received, disbursed, and recorded, and all accounting, reporting, and reconciliation functions are performed in accordance with related laws and policies.
Our goal is to maintain the integrity of financial data through the preparation of monthly account analysis and reconciliations, by providing integrated reports over multiple business units. Our services include preparing financial statements, tax returns, and various monthly reconciliations, as well as processing expenditure transfer requests, and reporting of financial data to external and internal entities.
