Programs are expected to undergo review every seven (7) years. For programs that are externally accredited, the program review will commence the year following the external accreditation.
Programs requesting an extension beyond the scheduled due date should submit a request for an extension to the UPRC using the CSUB Program Review Extension Request Form. When a program's self-study is submitted after its originally scheduled due date, that program will be expected to undergo review seven (7) years following the original due date or five (5) years after the self-study submission date, whichever is longer.
Example 1. A program is scheduled for review in AY 2010/2011 and submits its self-study during Fall 2010. The next review is scheduled for AY 2017/2018, with an expected self-study due date of 09/15/2017.
Example 2. A program is scheduled for review in AY 2010/2011 and submits its self-study during Fall 2012. The next review is scheduled for AY 2017/2018, with an expected self-study due date of 09/15/2017.
Example 3. A program is scheduled for review in AY 2010/2011 and submits its self-study during Fall 2013. The next review is scheduled for AY 2018/2019, with an expected self-study due date of 09/15/2018.
