In addition to university education requirements, students will complete an individualized program of study agreed upon by student and faculty advisor. A student wanting to develop a General Studies Concentration in the Interdisciplinary BA must request a faculty member to serve as the academic advisor. The faculty advisor, upon agreeing to serve, may require that a second or third advisor be secured for the other fields to be included in the Interdisciplinary BA.
The student and advisor(s) develop an agreed upon Program of Study. The Program of Study must contain a minimum of 36 semester units, 23 of which must be upper division. The student is also required to complete a senior seminar course, which may be specifically developed for the student's individualized BA.
